Jiri Everest Base Trek (21 days)

This is the longest trekking route in Everest Region which starts from Jiri after 6/7 hrs bus ride from Kathmandu then follow the traditional route to Everest Base. The whole trekking can be seen two different parts Higher and lower part, binning of the trek we can go passing through lush of forest, countless ups and down, impressive villages and their amazing culture with offering beautiful chance of photography every bending and corner during walking before Namche Bazzar in the lower part of the trek. After Namche the landscape goes to open with less greenery and cold with dry but the views of mountains are completely spectacular and incredible. When we reach around Base Camp, we feel truly wilderness with the exciting views of Mt. Everest (8848m) Lhotse (8516m), Pumari, Nuptse, Amadublum, Cholache, Choyu and Glaciers Lakes in the Higher land. Rare Flora and Fauna then learn about Sherpa culture and Mountaineering activities from the local museum and monasteries. If people have time then it is very perfect to start from Jiri due to more acclimatization, we don’t need to afraid of high sickness. Day 01: Airport picks up then transfers to hotel, refresh, and briefings about tour plan overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Tour in Kathmandu World Heritage Sites Kathmandu Durbar Square, Symbhunath Stupa, Bodhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath overnight hotel at Kathmandu

Day 03: Kathmandu drives to Shyvalaya about 8hr overnight in Shyvalaya.

Day 04: Shyvalaya trek to Bhander 6hrs (1900m) overnight.

Day 05: Bhandar trek to Sete 7hr (2500m overnight.

Day 06: Sete climb to Lamjura pass 3750m, and descend to Junbesi 6hr (2000m) overnight.

Day 07: Junbesi trek to Nunthala 6hr (22oom) overnight.

Day 08: Nunthala trek to Kharikhola 6hr (1800m

Day 09: Kharikhola to Paiya 7hr (2650m) overnight.

Day 10: Paiya to Chaurikharka 6hr (2750m) overnight.

Day 11: Chaurikharka to Manju 5hr (2830m) overnight.

Day 12: Manju trek to Namche Bazzar 5hr (3530m) over two nights

Day 13: Site trip around Namche for the acclimatization.

Day 14: Namche trek to Tengboche 6hr (9050m) overnight.

Day 15: Tengboche trek to Dingboche 6hr (4400m) over two nights.

Day 16: Site trips around Dingboche for acclimatization.

Day 17: Dingboche to louboche 6hr (4750m) overnight.

Day 18: louboche trek to Gorkshep 4hr (5180m) overnight

Day 19: climb kalapather for view and back down to Pheriche 5hr (4300m) overnight.

Day 20: Pheriche trek to Khumjung 7hr (3800m) overnight.

Day 21: Khumjung to Phakding 6hr (2600m) overnight.

Day 22: Phakding to Lukla 4hr (2800m) overnight.

Day 23: Fly back to Kathmandu and be refresh, shopping, sightseeing and dinner.

Day 24: Hotel to airport drops.

  • Personal expenses during trek (telephone, Laundry, battery charge, gash shower).
  • In case during trek lose due to unforeseen circumstances, The lose will be beyond Holiday Hiking Team 
  • Tips for staff
  • One sharing potter is provided for two guests who carry 20 to 25 kg in the high altitudes.
  • Two different size of bag is needed, one rucksack is given to potter putting trekking equipment and another small day bag is putting your most important thing then carrying by yourself.
  • Shoes: one waterproof light trekking boots, light jagging /sports shoes and Flip Flops / Sandal for night and morning during gust house.
  • Down Jacket, Fleece Jacket, long thermal  inner Trouser, windproof over trouser, worm hat, sun hat, scarf, worm waterproof gloves, 4/5 pairs of socks & underwear.
  • Battery charger, touch light, Sun glass, lip card, hot water bottle, sun crème.
  • The program me is organized according to Guest’ physical condition with their interest.
