Kanchenjunga is on the border of Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim. This region was declared as a restricted to protect environment, remote culture and security for border and local people, When China controlled Tibet. Kanchenjunga region was opened for the first time to the trekkers in 1988. But, before this, there were lot mountaineering act ivies. Trekkers must organize their treks from gvt. Register trekking Company with especial permit and follow all the terms & condition too. Individual trekkers aren’t allowed to trek in this region. This is the 3th highest Mountain whereas there are two trekking route south face route north face route. The northern route are more long, high & danger but it provides the Vantage for mountain like: Kanchenjunga (8586m),Wedge Peak(6750m),The Twins (7350m), Pyramid Peak (7168m) and Tent Peak (7365m). It is really dramatic but this route leads to Yalung Base Camp (4500m) through beautiful vegetation, landscape, Yak meadows to the Glaciers. Through which Dramatic views can be enjoyed of south face of kanchenjunga, Jannu (7711m),Yalung Khang (85o5m).

This Trek can be possible if trekkers have enough time, well-equipped & good weather. The region is dominated by Limbu people and its relative Rai. They claim that they are the original people. Their

Hat and dress have distinctive feature than other group and Tongba is their traditional local drink which is made from fermented millet seed put in the wooden put with hot water straw it by pipe, they belief in both Hindus and Buddhist. Anyway, this long trek offers colorful experiences like; - mixture culture of low land to distinctive culture of upper land, colorful landscape, flora, fauna, animals and High Mountain to hot plain land. The trek can do from Basantapur via taplejung Flight from ktm.

Day 01: airport Pick up transfer to hotel then having refresh and briefing about tour plan.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour in world heritage Sites around Kathmandu valley: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Shymbhunath Stupa, Bauddhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple and overnight at hotel in ktm

Day 03: Kathmandu fly to Taplejung and trek to Mitlung 5hr (922m) overnight

Day 04: Mitlung trek to Chhirwa 6hr (1250m) overnight here.

Day 05: Chhirwa trek to Sakathum 6hr (1650m) overnight

Day 06: Sakatum trek to Amjilassa 6 hr (2490m) overnight

Day 07: Amjilassa trek to Kyapra 5hr (2730m) overnight

Day 08: Kyapra trek to Gunsa 6hr (3600m) over two nights in Gunsa

Day 09: around Gunsa visit Tibetan monasteries and valley for acclimatization

Day 10: Gunsa trek to Khambachen 6hr (4100m) overnight

Day 11: Khambachen trek to Lhonak 6hr (4780m) overnight

Day 12: Lhonak trek to K B C.(kanchenjunga Base Camp) 3hr (500m)overnight

Day 13: kbc trek back to Khambachen 5hr (4100m) overnight

Day 14: Khambachen trek back to Gunsa 4hr (3600m) overnight here.

Day 15: Gunsa passes to Lapasang-LA (5110m) to Ramche 8hr (4580m) overnight here.

Day 16: Ramche day trip to Yalung Glacier (4800m) and back Ramche 6hr.                                                                                        

Day 17: Ramche trke to Tortong 7 hr (3000m) overnight

Day 18: Tortong trek to Yamphudin 6hr (2020m) overnight here.

Day 19: Yamphudin trek to Phumphe Danda 6hr (1850m) overnight

Day 20: Phumphe Danda trek to Tembewa 6hr (1835m) overnight.

Day 21: Tembewa trek to Suketar 5hr (2420m) overnight here

Day 22: Suketar fly via drives back to ktm.  In the evening, go together dinner

Day 23: airport departure

  • Kathmandu City Tour by private vehicle with experienced licensed guide and all required entre fee.
  • All your standard meal (B.L.D) with tea/coffee during trek.
  • Trekking standard tea house basis accommodation during trek.
  • Government licensed guide with required potters and their (food, accommodation, salary, transportation, Insurance, equipment and medicine) during the trek.   
  • Transportation Flight via Vehicle according to condition with their demand.
  • All necessary National Park &TIMS cart fee.

  • In case during trek lose due to unforeseen circumstances, the lose will be beyond Holiday Hiking Team 
  • Tips for staff
  • One sharing potter is provided for two guests who carry 20 to 25 kg in the high altitudes.
  • Two different size of bag is needed, one rucksack is given to potter putting trekking equipment and another small day bag is putting your most important thing then carrying by yourself.
  • Shoes: one waterproof light trekking boots, light jagging /sports shoes and Flip Flops / Sandal for night and morning during gust house.
  • Down Jacket, Fleece Jacket, long thermal  inner Trouser, windproof over trouser, worm hat, sun hat, scarf, worm waterproof gloves, 4/5 pairs of socks & underwear.
  • Battery charger, touch light, Sun glass, lip card, hot water bottle, sun crème.
  • The program me is organized according to Guest’ physical condition with their interest.
