Langtang region is located north of Kathmandu and exactly southern border of Tibet. Ganesh Himal is located at the Northern part of Nepal and border to Tibet which was named under Ganesh (The Got of success in Hindu mythology) and decaled as a sacred Mountain with pristine beauty of nature and culture as well. Generally the Ganesh Himal trek starts from Betrawati four hrs north drives from Kathmandu and the trek ends Gorkha
Kanchenjunga is on the border of Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim. This region was declared a restricted area to protect the environment and its remote culture as well as to secure the border after China took control of Tibet. The Kanchenjunga region was opened in 1988 for the first time to trekkers. Prior to this, there were a lot of mountaineering activities.
The fifth highest peak on the planet is Mount Makalu (8468m), which is located along the eastern part of Nepal between Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga. This region offers many adventure and wilderness experiences in the mountains. This trek starts in Tumlingtar, which is reached via a flight or drive from Kathmandu. Manaslu region is located north west of Kathmandu. It is announced restricted area to protect environment, remote culture and provide security in border people. Tourists were permitted for trek in 1991. But, before this time tourist were not allowed for mountaineering purpose. Tourist must have especial permit with grope, at list two people and should follow all the rule & regulation of Nepal Government.
