US$480Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is the most visited short trekking destination in Annapurna conservation Area of Nepal. The Poon-Hill is a famous Hill station to enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif mountain range, and Ghorepani is a mountain town with lots of nice accommodation for the trekkers. During this short trekking, you can explore wide variety of flora and fauna, spectacular landscape, unique lifestyle of local people and pristine beauty of nature even short time.
Normally, Ghorepani Poon-hill Trek starts from Nayapul after 1.5 hours drive from touristic town Pokhara. But some people like to go by Jeep to Ulleri by rough road also. It is also call Ghorepani Poon-Hill Circle Trek because you can start your trek left side of the Birethati come to ends you trek from right side of same place. This is four days beautiful walking through the lush of green wood, enjoying with beautiful terrace, various wonderful villages, culture and their amazing lifestyle and unique photography as well. Every day we hike 5 to 7 hours with lots of rest and picture of nice moment of every turning and bending of the trek. Tikhedhunga, Ulleri, Ghorepani, Tadapani and Ghandruk are the most impressive Poon and Gurung villages during this trek and Poon-Hill is the famous Hill station to enjoy the stunning sunrise view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain Range,from there we can see Mount Fistail (6993), Annapurna South(7219 m), Hiunchuli (6441 m), Gangapurna (7455 m), Nilgiri (7061 m) Dhaulagiri (6167 m) and many others peaks can be visible during walking from different town also. Similarly, we can witness with wide variety of flora and fauna as well. So this trek is suitable for almost all kind of people with ample of experience even short time and less effort.
Ghorepani is the traditional salt trade route to Tibet as well, so the local people of these areas follow the Tibetan Buddhism and culture as well. You can meet many Tibetan refugees during this trekking selling some Tibetan souvenirs. (Kathmandu by bus or fly to Pokhara):- After breakfast about 6/7 hours drive to Pokhara by tourist bus after passing through the beautiful villages, farmland, along the Trishuli and Marsyading River with thundering and roaring sound of River and Rafting team enjoying the water adventure, we can observe from the bus if we take bus but if we take a flying then we will have wonderful of Himalaya from the plane. Then go to hotel and get refreshed and evening look around lakeside with boating, shopping dinner around there and overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
(Pokhara 2.5 hour Jeep drive to Hile then 3 hour trek to Ulleri (2300 m):- After hot breakfast from hotel, We take Jeep about 2.5 hour to Hile crossing through beautiful valley terraces with wonderful mountain view and along so many panoramic vantage points where we stop for photos the we rich Hile after long off-road drive then about 3 hour vertical climbing we rich in Ulleri where we spend over night.
Ulleri about 5 hours trek to Ghorepani(2860 m):- Today after breakfast we all the way gradually climbing through rhododendron forest, waterfall, spectacular landscape until Ghorepani(2860 m) then we take room there. From the lodge we do have panorama of Daaulagiri and Annapurna range and terrific landscape as well. Then enjoy the dinner and overnight there.
Morning climb the Poon-Hill then trek to Tadapani(2630 m):- Early morning before breakfa about 50 minutes climb up to Poon-Hill (3210 m) for sunrise view from Himalaya. Poon Hill is one of the vest vantage point for mountain view in Nepal from where we can observe wonderful sceneries of Dhaulagiri, Nilgfiri, Twelve Peak, Annapurna First, Annapurna South, Himchuili, Fishtail Then we go down to Lodge and enjoy the hot breakfast and about 5 hour trek to Tadapani again through the dense rhododendron countless up and down hill then after dinner we spend overnight night at Tadapani.
(Tadapaniabout 3 hours trek to Ghandruk the 3 hours by Jeep top Pokhara):- Today from the hotel we can have beautiful sunrise view from Himalaya also then we do have hot breakfast and about 3 hours walking to Ghandruk through the dense Rhododendron forest with flat and downhill paths. Some time we can encounter with wild animal like: Lungur, Deer, wild Boar and birds as well then in Ghandruk we do have lunch then and about an hour trek and catch Jeep then 3 hour drive to Pokhara and overnight at pokhara.
(Tour in Pokhara):- Today after breakfast we do tour in famous place in Pokhara like: International Mountain Museum, David’s fall, Mahendrashor Cave and World Peace Pagoda around city then evening look around lakeside with shopping then over night at hotel Pokhara with Bed & breakfast.
(Pokhara Drive or Fly to Kathmandu or Chitwan) after breakfast we take tourist bus about 7 hours to Kathmandu or 30 minutes fly to Kathmandu then evening look around touristic market Thamel then Dinner with typical cultural house together then overnight or airport departure.
Poon Hill is the famous Hill Station in Nepal to enjoy the sunrise view from Himalaya. it is accessable short trek so only middle of winter it can't do without proper trekking gears and other time we can do as well. and without sleeping bag can enjoy the trek.

Great hiking experience
We were in Nepal for 15 days. Holiday hiking team made all our arrangements from airport pick up to our final day. The entire trip was custom made for our needs. We had an excellent tour and stay in Kathmandu. Then a terrific hike in Annapurna. Finally a super stay in Chitwin where we say tons of wildlife. Great experience with a great friend
We where back in August 2012 in Nepal and we met Hari by chance, he offered us a treck through the Annapurnas and we went for it. I only can say it was one of the best experiences in our life, amazing landscapes and a peaceful journey and with the best company, Hari, a great guy that will help you on everything and that will talk you about many interesting things.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Ghandruk Trekking
Great experience! Holiday Hiking Team Local Beas Trekking Company provide us, Hari was a very experienced guide and also a very nice person. He has a lot of knowledge about nepali culture, politics, vegetation, people and customs : he provided us any explanations we asked and we learned a lot!! We even learned a bit of Nepali language.
Hari is a serious guide and was always looking after us, checking if everything was fine.
We had a very good trekking experience and enjoyed wonderful landscapes at a nice rythm.

Great Poon Hill hiking tour for sporty rookies
This 4 day hiking was great. We had never hiked before. Together with the friendly and professional help we managed to do this. Everything was arranged, from car service to overnight stay. We did a private tour, me and my girlfriend. We definetely recommend this and this agency as well. You can reach them all day on WhatsApp and no question is too much. Thanks guys! Trekking and travelling With Hari Pande
I Came to Nepal as a trekking novice, by myself, with limited understanding and knowledge of the culture and people.
I'm fortunate and extremely grateful to of been able to meet, travel with, and develop a freindship with the brilliant, intelligent, friendly and down-to-earth Hari Pande. Hari was my wonderful, informative guide over two amazing jam-packed weeks, that included travelling, trekking and sightseeing through Nepal's breath taking scenic countryside and it's glorious, historic towns, cities and provinces.
Hari's proffesionalism, fluency in English and his extensive knowledge and understanding of trekking routes and Nepalese history and culture were crucial in allowing me to comfortably and authentically immerse myself within Nepalese tradition and culture.
Due to Hari I was able to learn, (including Nepalese language) absorb and experiece more than I ever expected, allowing me to develop a life long appreciation towards Nepal that I am forever grateful for.
Hari is a friend for life. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Nepal and it's people.

Wonderful trip
A few years ago, my daughter, some friends, and I traveled to Nepal to see the Himalayas. With Hari's assistance, we enjoyed a wonderful journey. We trekked through the Himalayan trails, marveled at the majestic snow-capped peaks, and reveled in the serene beauty of the mountains. To this day, my daughter fondly remembers that trip and has enthusiastically recommended it to her classmates in the United States.
Hari efficiently arranged our transportation, accommodations, and itinerary, ensuring everything was comfortable, safe, and reasonably priced. We are very grateful for Hari's competence and cherish the friendship between us. We look forward to meeting him again on our future trip to Nepal.
